Festival de dança de Joinville

In Santa Catarina, the festivities cultural calendar is open all year round. The Joinville Dance Festival, the largest student dance contest in Latin America, brings together both amateur and professional dancers, and draws 4 thousand participants. It is held annually in the second half of July, and attracts some 50 thousand people. Over the 11 partying nights, the convention center is transformed into stages. The companies present repertory ballet, classical ballet, contemporary dancing, jazz, street dancing, popular dances and tap dancing.
