Decentralization and development partnerships

The people of Santa Catarina are perseverant in their work, constantly seeking perfection. In accordance with the principles of sustainable development and in respect to the distinct regional vocations, the Government of Santa Catarina, along with the society, seeks to broaden social achievements and quality of life for all, both in the cities and in the countryside. The economic development plan has four key-concepts:

Technological Upgrade

In order to achieve this,  the Government seeks multiple flexible partnerships, to consolidate the different productive agglomerates in the State, increasing
its competitiveness in an integrated and harmonious manner.

Action democratization, transparency and community participation are the
foundation of this development model. There are incentives for entrepreneurs
that seek to prosper, creating job and wealth opportunities for the people.

Santa Catarina offers the means and the attractiveness of a solid infrastructure,
necessary for its competitive insertion into the regional and global markets.
The state has specialized laborers, a consumer market with high purchasing
power, and offers several incentives to the installation of new businesses.
